The Paavo Nurmi Marathon is a point-to-point marathon held in Northern Iron County, Wisconsin, every second Saturday in August. This certified course is a qualifying event for the Boston Marathon and the NYC Marathon, and it also offers a half marathon, a marathon relay, and a Twilight 5K run/walk. In 2025, the Paavo Nurmi Marathon will celebrate its 55th anniversary, making it Wisconsin's oldest running marathon!
